The idea with this project is to examine the implications of the fact that we now have the ability to disseminate widely something written very quickly, to a potentially very large audience. Google, with Gmail, has responded in a way to this phenomenon by creating mail goggles which asks you a series of questions to determine whether or not you are in a sound state of mind, before sending an email.
My response is to create this blog, posting embroidered diary entries on a regular basis. While the posting of the image is nearly instantaneous, the act of physically creating the object is much slower than typing or even handwriting an entry. This forces me to think very carefully about what to include -- how long do I feel like doing this today? Do my hands hurt? What is really important to convey, and what are the shortest/easiest to embroider words I can use for it? Maybe I'm feeling verbose, should I talk about that conversation I had involving hallucinations? Or am I too exhausted to embroider the words "conversation" and "hallucination?" I do not write the entries beforehand.
In addition I consider the "art piece" displayed to be the digital image and not the actual embroidered object. The reason for this will become apparent as the project continues. It pays to click on the link that takes you to Flickr as there are notes in the photograph that may or may not be enjoyable and which contribute to the overall piece.
Comments, feedback and critique much appreciated!

A very creative idea....
What an ambitious idea!
I am not too sure if you are totally insane or an absolute genius, but I am mad enough to keep reading!

Oh wow! This is going to be a cool project to follow. Also tedious projects = fun? HA! I'll be following along for sure!
the blog is like an oxymoron and the stitchery enhances the writing. Brilliant!
This is such an awesome idea!
This is a terrific/genius idea for a blog. I love the idea of embroidering blog posts and that there is more to the post than the embroidered text.
